The Piraeus Book Fair takes place in Pasa Limani, the main yacht marina of Piraeus, every year and attracts thousands of visitors. Since the arrival of tablets into our everyday lives the book market has taken a blow. The aim over the past four years is to create striking visuals for the Book Fair in order to attract a younger audience into the magical world of books.
The circular shape represents an archaic form deriving from the geometric art found on pots in Mycinea which, in this case, was selected to represent the meaning of culture. The 3dimensional texture gives a sense of sea since the fair is held next to the sea.
